Recently, at the just concluded 2012 IEEE International Image Processing Conference (IEEE icip2012), Sun Jing, a graduate student under the guidance of Professor Lu Huchuan from the school of information and communication engineering, the Department of telecommunications, won the nomination for the best student paper.
The Annual IEEE International Image Processing conference is a grand event in the field of image processing. This conference is the 19th. The conference received more than 2000 contributions from all over the world, and 786 papers were recruited, of which 11 papers were nominated as the best student papers. Among the 11 papers nominated, Sun Jing, a master of information and communication engineering, is the only Chinese student paper nominated for the best student paper.
